Class 1 & 2 Japan Boat License

JMRA Class 1 and 2 Preparation Courses

Twice a year, the Tokyo Sail and Power Squadron holds a series of “study sessions” to prepare participants for the Class 1 and/or Class 2 JMRA tests, which are offered in April and October each year. These sessions typically begin five or six weeks in advance of the JMRA test date, and include four sessions of class work and an on-the-water practice session where participants get behind the wheel of small powerboats and practice the various skills tested in the exam. Our success rate is very high, often with 100% of our students successfully getting their license.

If you are interested in acquiring the Class 1 and/or the Class 2 license contact our senior TSPS instructor for further details.
