Handling Seasickness

Many TSPS members have to deal with the problem of seasickness, either for themselves or for friends and family that they want to take out sailing. This video gives some good tips for handling this problem. It is aimed at women, but, hey, guys get seasick, too, so it’s good info for all.

  1. The video is long on talk and short on specifics. In heavy seas, the most effective remedy is a daily tablet of 25 mg Meclozini Hydrocloridum, in some countries called Bonine and in some Postafen. Doesn’t make you drowsy like some other medicine. Another good remedy is a drop behind each ear of a natural oil called Motion Eaze, however, in my experience this helps only in a light sea.
